Barbara Alexander, Serial Entrepreneur, Performer, Educator, International Vocal Coach, Motivational Speaker and Author, just to name a few. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education, and Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership. She has been teaching, training and empowering people for over 30 years.

LONG BIO

Babs debuted on Broadway in 2006. She has starred in Hairspray multiple times and has performed at the New London Barn Playhouse in New Hampshire, gaining her standing ovation performances. She later performed with the famous Actress, Misty Rowe from “Hee Haw ” as a blue singer. Appearing in Brooklyn’s Finest, Indie’s film, Watching TV with the Red Chinese, New Amsterdam and commercials by United Way.

She has performed as an opera singer, Broadway and Gospel singer in 39 states and 4 countries, singing in seven languages. She has trained and taught clients from beginners to professionals all over the world. Her clients have mounted stages of The Voice, The Apollo, American Idol, America’s Got Talent, X Factor, Who’s Got Talent, Miss Sweden, Miss Connecticut, Broadway, recording artists and the list continues. She has also taught choirs all over the world as a She is a former certified music teacher.

Babs is a member of the National Education Association, National Association for Music Education, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Network of Executive Women of Milford, Arts Council of Greater New Haven, and Cultural of Fairfield County. She is the owner of the Babs International Vocal Coach, Performing Arts Academy of CT LLC, Tutors for Teachers Certification LLC and Founder of Arts in CT, her most prized possession. Arts in CT, a statewide nonprofit arts organization creating art programs for local communities across the state of Connecticut. She continues to make a positive impact wherever she goes.

Babs has trained public speakers, singers and actors and she travels around the world with her gift of empowering the world through the arts by teaching people how to utilize their voice to make a massive impact on this world. She penned her first book, The Aspiring Guide to Aspiring Actors set to come out this fall, 2023.

Babs has extensive experience in training choirs worldwide, especially youth and show choirs teaching children how to take the world by storm.
